Thai new year, or as the Thais call it Songkran, is a favorite holiday not only locals but also foreigners who with great pleasure take part in the celebration. Water Festival - also known as the holiday, as popular as during the celebration made to pour water on each other. On the streets of Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and other cities all the people walking around with buckets. The holiday itself is religious in nature, in which the Thai people presents homage to the Buddha, bathing Buddha statues all over Thailand.
